oDD bOOG: NFT PFP Project
oDD bOOG says hi!
bOOGs are the result of human creativity colliding with AI and Blockchain. The character was first built in 3D with hand-painted 2D elements (2.5D as we call it). Artist created traits were then fed into a generative algorithm to produce varied rare bOOGs.
The NFT PFP collection is designed as an alter-ego that one can take to the Metaverse. With over 150+ hand drawn visual characteristics and 10+ legendary 1/1’s, we were able to manifest 7,777 unique, none like the other bOOGs.
The project has taken great shape and is in process of being minted as NFTs on it’s website to reside on the Ethereum Blockchain forever. bOOG is just character #1 and we plan to launch a character universe with each avatar having diverse traits and tribe around them. Our aspiration is to build a media company (fronted by 3D animated character I.P’s) from the ground up along with some fun metaverse experiences.
We’d earlier announced our intent to focus on Metaverse Entertainment and we feel like we’ve just begun. Join us and bOOG in our oDD NFT project journey.
Brisk Star Wars : Yoda Vs Darth Maul
Aatma Studio with Mekanism developed this next generation 3d animated short featuring Darth Maul and Yoda, for Pepsi’s flagship iced tea drink, Brisk and Lucas Films.
Brisk Campaigns, renowned for their signature stop-motion animation style and cult following, have been revitalized in the past year. Aatma Studio and Mekanism took the current campaign to the next level by infusing computer graphics for the first time to the otherwise traditional stop-motion styled theme in Brisk’s previous campaigns.
Aatma’s brief was to retain the legacy of the brand’s signature style of stop-motion with CGi. Our team (or Aatmans as we call ourselves) enabled the campaign to break new ground as CG helped emulate the stop-motion feel, while retaining its quality and essence.
A team of 12 Aatmans executed this complex project within a 3-month timeframe.
The campaign was well received, across both television, broadcast and nation wide movie theaters.
Aatma also delivered a french version for the campaign which can be found here

Orbit’s Odyssey Mobile Game
Design and delivering a high quality game is fun, albeit a complex process. It’s been a phenomenal ride bringing Orbit’s Odyssey to life for our sister company paperkyte
For the look we were heavily influenced by old scifi pop art, movies, and early space exploration. We wanted to incorporate backgrounds that felt like there was dimension and depth to them. Our concept artists delivered magnificent artwork and inspired our 3d artists to create assets that match the style.
We sculpted the characters in 3d paying close attention to the art style while painting textures and normal maps go give the characters a unique look. Aatma’s team of modelers, riggers and animators brought the characters to life and delivered game ready assets that were later incorporated into Unity to assemble the game.

Zoosk Date Smarter
Our concept artists worked on defining the look and feel of the spot. We wanted it to have a hand made painterly feel with rich colors to carry the audience through the spot. We ended up with simple yet sophisticated background/set design that helped put the focus on the story.
Aatma casted several Voice over talents and recorded multiple takes of the script. We had to pack in a lot of stuff in 30 seconds and our VO artists did a great job of pacing through it without feeling rushed. We collaborated with a composer that came up with an original soundtrack that set the tone just right and carried the audience emotionally through the spot
Our concept art was so well received that we decided to stay true to the concept and art and match it as much as we could. Our animators did a great job in keep the animation subtle yet realistic.
